Artist statement: I first got this image if a dia de los muertos skull and drew the outline of it just to have a nice foundation to start with. Then Colored the skull how ever I wanted I also Incorporated the colors of the cempasuchil. To get the kind of streak look I used the tutorial Engraving techniques using photoshop.

I like the picture on the right because It's so color full it reminds me of a mermaid and I would to incorporate something like this in my work

I like these pictures because they remind me of olden times way before my times. When I look at them it screams Haunted like when I watch ghost hunters.

hatching stippling

Artist statement: This stippling/hatching project was fun and exiting. It was definitely not the easiest thing but I had fun doing it because it was something very knew to me. This is something I would definitely like to do again. Stippling is a technique using Various amounts of dots in a pattern or randomly. Hatching is another technique using lines in a random fashion. I chose these people as my hero and villain because Alice in wonderland is one of my favorite movies it was so color full and 3D. I thought it would be a good choice since they came from something I enjoyed.
